We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our growing company. This position is 100% remote but preference for a candidate to reside within 150 miles of Clear Lake, Iowa.
**Requirements of Position**
- Excellent communication skills, professional customer service, and problem skills.
- The ability to be flexible is essential. Hours are flexible but must have availability during daytime business hours.
- Must be detail oriented and a multi-tasker.
- Knowledge of medical terminology. Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding.
- Must be computer savvy. Preferred knowledge of billing software systems and comfortable with spreadsheets.

Billing and Collections
Denials and Appeals
Accounts Receivable
- Maintain patient confidentiality as per the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)

- Approximately 20 hours per week with possibility of more hours in the future.

**Experience**
