    Job Summary

    This position is responsible for driving the development and execution of the medical education strategy for products in the ZOLL Respicardia portfolio.

    Essential Functions

    • Establish strategy and ensure execution in all key areas of professional relations for Respicardia products including Education Strategy and Congress Planning.
    • Develop, execute, and drive key opinion leader (KOL) program, including support for Global Guidelines and symposium initiatives.
    • Responsible for managing clinical strategy in collaboration with Medical Affairs Team, including publication strategy and plan.
    • Establish strong clinical relationships globally to develop clinical champion network to participate in clinical studies, white papers, testimonials, speaker bureau, and other evidence-based marketing initiatives.
    • Develop and maintain strong clinical knowledge, critical market insight, and industry awareness to guide strategic decision-making.
    • Maintain and monitor team workload, performance, and quality.
    • Assess and manage direct reports’ learning and development opportunities.
    • Conduct annual and ongoing performance reviews with recommendations for compensation changes, promotions, and disciplinary action as appropriate.
    • Participate in the interviewing, hiring, and retention of highly engaged and diverse employees.
    • Set a professional example in alignment with ZOLL’s Leadership Qualities.
    • Execute company strategic business plans and long and short-term objectives.

    Required/Preferred Education And Experience

    • Master's Degree or greater in appropriate clinical area
    • Clinical background preferred with at least 3 years in clinical work

    Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

    • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication skills, and well-honed interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
    • Ability to interpret and convey clinical data required. Independent thinking and a high level of initiative and the ability to interact well with physician, customers, and key opinion leaders are essential.
    • Must be an effective team leader in a fast paced, high visibility environment.
    • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
    • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
    • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems and make appropriate judgment calls to insure the correct outcome.
    • Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Travel Requirements

    • 30% travel and some weekends required for this position
