ZB RX Medical is urgently seeking a Part-Time Medical Collections Specialist with a strong background in solid collection results and communication. This position has the possibility of Full-Time employment as well as an hourly increase upon on a 25% recapture of delinquent medical payments.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of insurance claims and insurance terminology.
• Ability to be appropriate in a professional manner as defined by the company’s Standards of Behavior, Policy and Procedures, and Scope of Services.
• Understanding of Medical Insurance Aging.
• Ability to communicate with insurance companies and follow up on outstanding insurance balances, including denial disputes, written appeals, and phone calls.
• Strong background in monitoring claim status.
• Strong technical ability to navigate payer websites and portals along with other various sites to conduct research.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Other duties as assigned by team Accounting Manager or Team Lead.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1 year of medical collection experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
