Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Kalispell Rehab. The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records for all residents, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and updating medical records for accuracy and completeness
• Ensuring proper documentation of all resident assessments, care plans, and treatments
• Communicating with healthcare providers to obtain necessary medical information
• Managing electronic medical records system
• Protecting and maintaining the confidentiality of all resident medical information
• Assisting with audits and compliance reviews
• Providing support to staff in understanding and utilizing medical records system

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in medical records management preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical records management, preferably in a long-term care setting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
