Medical Records Transcriptionist jobs in Tennessee

OPUS Pathology is looking for an experienced medical transcriptionist with expertise in pathology who is self-motivated, detail oriented, consistent and reliable.

Requirements:

• Experience in transcription of pathology with vast knowledge of medical terminology.
• The ability to listen to and understand spoken dictation from dictators with a variety of dialects.
• The ability to transcribe spoken dictation with speed and accuracy, using proper grammar and punctuation.
• The ability to learn and adapt to multiple computer software systems.
• Candidate must be able to work well with in a team and independently.
• Time management skills are required along with the ability to move seamlessly from task to task with efficiency.
• Candidate must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Speed, accuracy and consistency are necessary in this fast-paced environment.
