The House Director is required to live on premises for the term of the contract, except pre-arranged leave and school holidays. Her role is to supervise the House and make it a safe, hospitable, and friendly home for the sorority women. Room and board, along with paid time off and other benefits are available.

General Job Description:
The House Director resides at the house.
The House Director is a representative of the chapter house and must possess superb managerial and communications skills. She must be comfortable working closely with collegiate members, alumnae volunteers, and vendors/contractors. The House Director must keep their focus during emergency situations, and must also understand the need for discretion and maintaining confidentiality. She must be accessible and approachable. Attention to detail and careful record-keeping are also important attributes. In addition to the specific duties detailed below, the House Director shall perform such other job duties as assigned by the chapter or house corporation, from time to time.
Kappa Delta wishes to find a house director who will fit in well with the chapter by accepting diverse identities, valuing getting to know the women in the chapter, creating a sense of community within the house, being involved however they can, and caring for other staff and chapter members.
