Meeting/Event Planner jobs in Ohio

Meeting/Event Planner plans and organizes live or virtual meetings and events for an organization or external clients. Implements an event strategy to achieve objectives. Being a Meeting/Event Planner researches and recommends event venues. Coordinates meeting logistics, including attendee registration, transportation, accommodations, meals, and technology. Additionally, Meeting/Event Planner conducts rehearsals and system checks of all equipment and connectivity. Researches and maintains relationships with vendors for event support services. Coordinates budget planning and ensures that events stay within cost projections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Meeting/Event Planner occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Summary :

    Provide support to mechanics for the maintenance of company equipment at our Fredericktown Shop.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

    • Ordering automotive and equipment parts for the company’s maintenance team. Provide prompt and courteous service, assists and advises internal customers (Team Members) on how to best meet their needs.
    • Manage Parts Inventory.
    • Operate forklift to load / unload parts.
    • Pull requested parts from inventory.
    • Expedite shipping and receiving.
    • Record and maintain parts and maintenance history.
    • Type letters, making faxes and copies, and send emails.
    • Answer and make phone calls.
    • Attend meetings and taking notes.
    • Identify and order all parts and materials required for mechanics.

    Education and Experience :

    • High School / Equivalent or Associates Degree.
    • 2-5 years of parts and / or equipment maintenance experience.
    • Automotive and Equipment knowledge preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong sense of urgency.
    • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
    • Proficiency with MS Office.
    • Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company.
    • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Problem solver; can-do attitude.
    • Must be able to climb on and under equipment to locate part numbers.
    • Must be able to look up parts applications by manuals, catalogs or web based systems.
    • Learn and utilize company software (Viewpoint).
    • Must be able to work in a high pace and safe environment.
