Our company is looking for a Manufacturing Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Primary point of contact for customers, interpreting and implementing customer instructions for the company to produce custom manufactured products.
• Receive and interpret customer forecasts and orders to determine ability to satisfy customer demand.
• Enter orders, manage, or escalate any concerns and ensure resolution of customers’ concerns.
• Partner with sales and operations teams to ensure meeting and exceeding customers’ service expectations.
• Resolve any billing issues by processing product exchanges and working with the accounting department to refund or credit where necessary.
• Support sales and business development initiatives when new options are available or where it would appropriately support the customer’s needs.
• Issues credits, sends order acknowledgements and composes letters to customers and potential customers.
• Communicates with all individuals whose involvement impacts customer communications.
• Updates customer records.
• Prepares and sends quotes and provides written proposals to customers and potential customers.
• Track shipment status of customer orders.

Requirements:    

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities at once with a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in sales, ideally selling custom manufactured products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools necessary to communicate effectively with customers.
• Experience with enterprise resource planning tools and programs preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive industry Quality Management Systems preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related position.
