Job Summary: The Assistant Director of New Alumni Membership and Royalty Programs develops and executes strategies for maintaining and growing a comprehensive new alumni membership program. Provides high level fundraising support. Assists with alumni fundraising through direct mail membership solicitations, e-mail solicitations, special projects, marketing in general, and for FATE (future alumni for tradition and excellence).
Additional Department Summary: Provides high-level marketing support to the Director of Alumni Membership and Marketing, focusing on membership growth and retention and fundraising using various mediums available to the National Alumni Association. Responsible for developing marketing strategies and executing marketing plans NAA and royalty partners. This role includes managing the Future Alumni for Tradition and Excellence (FATE) program, targeting current UA students, and coordinating outreach events to grow FATE membership and foster engagement. Additionally, the position involves selling sponsorships and advertisements to support Alumni Affairs.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience; OR master's degree.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be willing to work nights and weekends as needed.
Skills and Knowledge: Must have the ability to self manage and prioritize duties, the ability to coordinate and administer projects and student assistants, the ability to interact well with university employees and outside vendors, must have the drive to be successful, integrity and sincerity, and exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Prefer a seasoned fundraising professional.
