Our client, a progressive and fast-growing organization, is seeking a Membership Manager for their Sarasota premier state-of-the art facility. They are expanding their business throughout Florida and will provide excellent career growth and income! Seeking a person with staff management experience who will work closely with the Director of Sales Membership in helping with membership sales. This is an exciting opportunity with responsibilities including: providing prospective new member tours, recruiting and retaining club members, managing event catering staff along with the Marketing Communications Specialist.

Responsibilities:

Membership Management:

• Manage all aspects of the membership process, including applications, renewals, and inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of member information and dues payments.
• Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure timely processing of membership fees.

Concierge Desk Operations:

• Oversee the daily operations of the concierge desk, ensuring a high level of service for all members and guests.
• Train and supervise concierge staff to provide exceptional customer and member service.
• Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Being prepared to handle emergencies, complaints, or unexpected situations effectively and efficiently.
• Managing reservation systems, ensuring proper use of technology at the front desk, and troubleshooting any technical issues.

Club Tours and Presentations:

• Coordinate and conduct personalized tours of the club facilities for prospective members.
• Showcase the various amenities, programs, and services available to enhance the membership experience.
• Address inquiries and provide detailed information to alleviate any concerns or objections raised during the tour.
• Work in coordination with the Membership Sales Director to Identify and cultivate relationships with potential members.
• Present membership options, benefits, and amenities in a compelling manner tailored to individual interests.
• Maximize conversion from prospect to member while adhering to club policies.

Event Coordination:

• Assist in planning and executing club events, including member socials, tournaments, and special functions.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless event operations and member satisfaction.
• Direct responsibility for the Event & Catering Coordinator and achieving budgeted revenue and profitability goals.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for member communications, including newsletters, emails, and announcements. Direct responsibility for the Marketing & Communication Specialist.
• Keep members informed about club activities, policies, and updates.
• Work closely with the Director of Membership, the Club’s General Manager, Membership Sales Director and the Club’s Marketing Specialist [the Marketing team”] to develop promotional materials and campaigns aimed at attracting new members.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new members.
• Provide regular updates to the General Manager on the member experience regarding club performance, trends, and challenges.

Membership Retention:

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance member satisfaction and retention.
• Proactively identify opportunities to add value to the membership experience.

Facility Management:

• Collaborate with facilities management to ensure that club facilities are well-maintained and meet the needs of members.
• Address any maintenance issues or concerns in a prompt and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a private club or hospitality environment.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and membership management software is desirable.
