Collins is seeking a highly motivated Entry-Level Engineer to play a key role on our team in Portsmouth, NH. This role will provide the opportunity to work on structural projects, including bridge and ancillary structural inspection, above and below water inspections. There will also be in the field and regional travel. In addition, we offer plenty of opportunities for growth, working with professionals who have decades of experience developing industry-defining techniques.
Your impact on real life projects includes the following but not limited to:
• Perform design and inspection/field work that does not require previous experience.
• Assist in the completion of inspection and assessment reports.
• Prepare design computations and quantity estimates.
• Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare calculation packages and design drawings.
• Has limited communication with clients.
• Instructs draftspersons / technicians on design drawings, data entry, and report preparation.
