Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Perform laboratory analysis of samples (Non-Viable, Viable) using aseptic technique, following established procedures and in full compliance with official compendial, health authority regulations (TOC, Conductivity, Bioburden, BET, environmental monitoring).
- Operates and maintains laboratory instruments, while ensuring the reliability of instrumentation through proper maintenance, with ability to troubleshoot minor issues.
- Maintains accurate records of work performed and documents results, according to good documentation practices and established procedures.
- Must analyze, evaluate, and interpret data, notifying clients of results, and assisting to resolve issues, if applicable.
- Conduct qualification of methods and/or other laboratory studies, according to scientific protocols.
- Trends data to support trend reports.
- QC Micro experience- -Hands-on experience with Environmental Monitoring and Lab. Testing.
- Hands-on aseptic technique experience is preferable.
- Attention to detail while running assays/ tasks in the lab and while performing EM is required.
- Should have good organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload, and extremely thorough with excellent attention to detail.
- Should perform tasks with supervision guidance, taking responsibility for complying with GMP requirements.
- Strong interpersonal / communication skills. Maintaining good working relationships within and outside the department.
- Adjusting quickly to new situations. Reprioritizing to meet schedule demands in a continually changing work environment.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products (e.g., USP, EP, JP pharmacopoeias, ICH guidelines, cGMP) is preferred.
- GMP and/or Clean-Room experience
- Clean-Room Gowning
- Experience with cGMP documentation and record maintenance is required.
- BS in Biology, Microbiology or other life science required.
- microbiology lab: 2 years (Preferred)
- Performs routine Environmental Monitoring testing: 2 years (Preferred)
- Clean-Room Gowning: 1-2 years (Preferred)
