General Summary:
The New Market Development, Marketing Specialist helps identify, cultivate and grow Bayhealth market share by executing marketing plans and forming community partnerships designed to grow underdeveloped and new markets identified through consumer market research and the business development strategy department of Bayhealth as it relates to the overall strategic plan of the health system. Under the direction of the Manager, Marketing Growth & Revenue Development, the New Market Development, Marketing Specialist analyzes market data, making recommendations, and developing short-term and long-term marketing plans to increase patient volumes and grow revenue in accordance with health system and business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:- Analyzes market data, making recommendations, working with the Manager, Market Growth & Revenue Development to develop short-term and long-term marketing plans to increase patient volumes and grow revenue in accordance with health system business goals and objectives.
- Works to oversee marketing programs related to new and existing markets to include service line related community organizations (like American Heart Association, American Cancer Association) as well as athletics partnerships (like DE Turf, Delaware Tech, DSU, etc.) to ensure maximization of marketing and ability to reach new audiences through the partnerships.
- Collaborates with members of the Marketing Department to ensure timely and efficient management of all marketing campaigns, projects and communication efforts to both internal and external audiences.
- Develops marketing campaign plans, determines KPIs and provides campaign tracking results to Marketing Manager.
- Partners with service line leaders and clinical leaders to collaborate on the development of marketing strategies, plans and deliverables. Reviews market data and research to ensure strategies align with current and future consumer market trends.
- Partners with Manager, Marketing Growth & Revenue Development to ensure integrity and operational efficiency of future CRM and call center/referral line solutions to ensure effective and positive user experience (UX).
- Adheres to all protocols and processes for marketing operations, workflow and project budgets. Communicates proactively with operations status and any potential concerns. Follows a systematic and thorough review and approval process of all marketing efforts. Maintains documentation of process.
- Partners with Digital and Web Coordinator on the creation of digital assets, as needed. Assist in tracking partner contracts for renewal and initiates internal discussion for need for RFPs and/or renewals of said agreements.
- All other duties as assigned within the scope and range of job responsibilities.

- Experience: Required: Five years of marketing communications experience with a demonstrated track record of success in marketing strategy. Preferred: Knowledge of health industry.
