Responsibilities:
* Successfully leads team to achieve results by providing appropriate direction, timely developmental feedback, and mentoring, and conducting performance reviews and conversations. Crafting training, career development plans and ensuring assignments with growing levels of responsibility. Monitors and measures work tasks to ensure deliverables are provided on time and within budget.
* Defines and drives continuous development practice improvements across technical fields and organizations (e.g., team structure, roles, processes, tooling, security & compliance).
* Leads all aspects of technical relationships with multiple assigned vendors, including driving features and function requests for inclusion in future product releases.
* Driving and owning current and future state technical road map in collaboration with Design and Enterprise Architecture and building/maintaining cross organizational teams.
* Interviews and hires qualified managers and team members, targeting to improve T-Mobile bench strength and augmenting product or project teams with contract staff when required.
* Identifies and enables application of industry quality practices into all parts of the T-Mobile SDLC/STLC lifecycles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Microsoft Office (Required)
* Visual Studio Proficiency with Visual Studio development environment preferred. (Required)
* Microsoft SharePoint (Required)
* Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (Required)
* Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) (Required)
Experience:
* 10 yrs experience of developing large scale business systems applications. (Required)
* 4 yrs management experience with programming staff including leadership, planning, and coordination of development work for a minimum of 4 large projects. (Required)
* 10 yrs overall IT experience. (Required)
Education:
* Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or in a computer programming related field.
