Mortgage Collection Supervisor jobs in Michigan
Mortgage Collection Supervisor supervises a team of collectors who limit collection portfolio losses and delinquencies. Maintains documentation on past-due accounts. Being a Mortgage Collection Supervisor monitors collections activities for compliance with policies and procedures. Provides reports to management with recommendations for improvement and referrals for complex accounts. Additionally, Mortgage Collection Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mortgage Collection Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Job Description
The Michigan Civil Service Commission is looking for a motivated individual who is organized, goal oriented, and is interested in working in a fast-paced, professional Human Resources environment. This position will serve as a Human Resources Student Assistant performing a wide range of duties supporting the Classifications and Selections representatives, as well as the Labor Relations staff serving the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Academics focusing on Human Resources.
- Exceptional follow up and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable and self-motivated with an emphasis on attention to detail
- Ability to work closely with others on complex issues
Required Education and Experience
Current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post-secondary educational institution. Specific information on the education and experience required for difference class levels is in the job specifications for Human Resources Student Assistant class.
