We have a wonderful opportunity for a Blood Collections Specialist Supervisor to join our Donor Services team at Bloodworks Northwest.
The incumbent will be responsible for the dynamic leadership of a diverse blood collections team, ensuring that departmental goals, blood collection targets, and the mission of Bloodworks are achieved.
Ensure Bloodworks, FDA, AABB OSHA / WISHA standards are met to maintain the safety of the blood supply.Directly supervise up to 20 non-exempt technical staff that perform whole blood and automated collections.
Responsible for the daily operations of the fixed site and / or mobile unit(s), including oversight of the general operation of the fixed site and vehicle maintenance.

Supervise the Blood Collection Services staff that performs whole blood and automated collections to ensure regulatory compliance with all procedures.
Maintain complete employee records and ensure quick action on all coaching opportunities and performance issues.
Collaborate to resolve problems and create a safe and positive work environment.
Follow up on customer service issues by handling elevated, complex, and mid-level donor concerns and make recommendations to enhance the donation process.
