Mortgage Operations Manager oversees all mortgage lending operations, including verifying property appraisals, marketing loan products, and loan processing. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Responsible for managing the operations of a specific team by establishing monthly goals, overseeing staffing, and ensuring compliance requirements are met by all departments. Supervises the operations team and effectively manages the pipeline of loans to reach company goals. Ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversees daily operations, including establishing and exceeding goals, team staffing, SLA’s, and training.
· Forecast funding and hiring in advance.
· Supervises the daily activities of the Team Leads, the verification desk, and the Funding Supervisor to ensure effective pipeline management.
· Monitors pipeline to ensure internal compliance policies are enforced and customer service standards are met or exceeded.
· Negotiates and works to resolve problems with broker as it relates to pricing, program changes, and re-works to loan requests.
· Maintains and updates policies and procedures for the department.
· Communicate with other departments including but not limited to sales, Senior Management, and other support departments.
· Communicates effectively with Sales Managers and other appropriate positions when service levels are at risk. Identifies issues and recommends areas for improvement.
· Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required
EXPERIENCE:
· Experience in the Mortgage industry required.
· Minimum of five to ten years of supervisor or management experience in operations within the mortgage industry, preferably in non-QM.
· Highly proficient in communicating both written and orally to small or large teams.
· Ability to deliver the company direction to all team members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· This position is in an office setting with computer and general office equipment. The position requires the ability to move freely around within the department and other department locations.
