The Quality Assurance Auditor is responsible for the internal auditing activities of the plant to comply with AS9100 standards by scheduling, conducting, and assessing the progress of internal audits and auditors. They will also assists the Quality Manager with internal audit findings for completeness and relevance.
Quality Assurance AuditorEssential Responsibilities
Schedules internal audits and ensures they are completed as required as well as completing their own internal audits as a certified auditor to AS9100. Reviews all internal audits for completeness and relevance and are closed out in a timely manner.
Coordinates internal corrective actions in QIM and following up with CAR owners. Reviews CARs for completeness and ensures they are completed in a timely manner.
Participates in monthly management review through maintaining AS9100 related KPIs for monthly reporting.
Acts as document control coordinator for all AS9100 related documentation both internal and external.
Organize and maintains all documentation files needed for compliance to all government contracts and assists quality team in successfully completing all government source inspections, approvals, and deviations.
Participates in PACE plan for creation and review of certification packets for approving shipments.
Coordinate between departments and levels of the organization to accomplish the above tasks with demonstrated skills in communication, attention to detail, and organization.
Education & Experience
Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
Prior experience in Quality specificallywith gauges.
Prior experience with inspection equipment and product identification.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Familar with AS9100 quality requirements.
