Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Motorcycle Mechanic/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Pikes Peak Indian Motorcycle is actively seeking an experienced Indian motorcycle technician to join our growing team. Candidates should exemplify strong interest and knowledge in engine building as we look to continue to provide our customers with a wide variety of options in custom and performance work. We are a family-owned dealer who services Indian and Harley Davidson motorcycles. Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Pre-inspection of bike before starting any work (includes recording all specs and current mileage)
· Properly and efficiently diagnose all issues on the bike while inspecting the motorcycle for any other issues or problems
· Provide an accurate list of parts needed to complete repairs to the service coordinator, as well as any additional repairs or parts that may be needed
· Test ride the bike after repairs to make sure all repairs are completed properly
Qualifications:
· Experience preferred but mechanically savvy individuals eager to learn and grow may be considered
