Motorcycle Mechanic/Repairer repairs and maintains motorcycles. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being a Motorcycle Mechanic/Repairer may have to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty with 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Additionally, Motorcycle Mechanic/Repairer relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. Responsibilities:
- Perform automotive diagnostics and repairs in accordance with dealership standards
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed
- Weld and fabricate metal parts as required
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction
- Suspend vehicles using appropriate equipment for inspection and repair purposes
- Lift heavy objects and parts as necessary
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in automotive repair
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in automotive repair
- Ability to weld and fabricate metal parts
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
