Network/Operations - Systems Engineer - Lead

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/Operations - Systems Engineer - Lead with our client in the financial industry located in Wilmington, DE. This is a 9 month contract position.
Responsibilities:- Design, coding, and testing of software projects, with a special focus on the underlying architecture of systems and integration between them
- Duties include development in one or more of the following technologies: Mumps, Profile Scripting Language (PSL), SQL
- Work with the Development Team Leader and business owners to refine and clarify project requirements
- Work with the Development Team Leader to help manage tasks and stories
- Provide team leadership and proactively seek out areas for improvement
- Produce detailed design specifications from project requirements
- Design, Develop & test Projects using existing design standards and within accepted defect rate based on specification documents
- Help gather and provide input to assist in overall team process improvement and product design stability
- Properly track issues and resolutions in relation to the development effort using JIRA
- Ensure that all code retains logical stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity of client systems in accordance with client policies, procedures and guidelines
Requirements:- At least 5 years of professional experience developing on Profile application (MUMPS and PSL)
- At last 5 years of professional experience developing banking software such as financial products and financial reporting features
- 3 years working in an Agile Environment
- At least 2 years of professional experience with multi-tier system design and implementation
- Scripting language experience (Shell Scripts, Awk)
- Knowledge of cloud engineering topics
- Good working knowledge of banking concepts
