What You'll Do
As the IT Enterprise Secure Network Program Manager, you will be responsible for program management of specific, key digital transformation (DT) projects that support our national security mission to maintain the safety, security, and effectiveness of the United States nuclear weapons stockpile. Working as part of the IT organization’s DT team, the Enterprise Secure Network Program Manager position will have you working closely with all NNSA sites to contribute ideas, help with modernization, and ensure Y-12 is meeting the requirements of ESN goals. You will also work closely with IT Operations leadership and be responsible for progress tracking/reporting as well as overall program communications.
Specifically:
• Leads cross-functional teams from various internal disciplines to facilitate the creation of a clear master schedule to align and make visible all key customer and ESN specific milestones
• Manages and leads the day-to-day activities of ESN projects including the development of project execution plans, project deliverables and coordination of IT resources
• Leads complex ESN projects through the full project life-cycle: Project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring, and project closure to successfully deliver assigned projects within agreed upon constraints (e.g., scope, schedule, labor cost, and quality)
• Performs risk assessment throughout the project life cycle and visualizes actions needed to close gaps. Actively engages with project teams, peers, and management to resolve resource conflicts, priorities, and project issues
• Develops and maintains project and/or technical documentation, per procedures; and ensures completeness and accuracy
• Ensures effective communications exists with and among projects for which he/she is responsible and escalates items at risk in order to proactively drive countermeasures to obstacles which may impede project progression
• Briefs DT and IT Operations management weekly and/or monthly on project activities, cost, schedule, status, and technical performance
• Partner with DT and IT Operations leadership to develop strategic plans which align schedules and deliverables to existing Operational roadmaps

• Strong understanding of Project and Program Management
• Strong understanding of project/program management deliverables and CAB processes
• Working knowledge of the PMBOK
• Working knowledge of Agile project management methodology
• Working knowledge of the ITIL Framework and its relationship to project/program management
