TownePlace Suites by Marriott of Ames is currently hiring multiple positions ranging from a Part-Time Front Desk Associate from 11PM to 7AM

Essential Job Functions

• This is a part time position with 1 to 2 days a week. You could work another 3-11PM shift to pick up extra hours.
• Will explain in interview.
• Always greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Perform accurate check-in and check-outs of guests daily
• Answer telephone in a timely fashion
• Make reservations over the phone and in person
• Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift to ensure that everything balances at the end of shift
• Manage nightly hotel operations
• Verify revenue from all sources is accurately balanced, follow up on any discrepancies

The ideal candidate: Must be willing to go above and beyond for our guest, be positive, detail oriented, able to multi-task, self starter, and experienced in the service industry, customer service oriented and a team player. The Front Desk Agent is the bridge between all departments and must possess excellent problem resolutions skills and the ability to defuse guest situations effectively. Professionalism is a required at all times.

Shifts include: 11PM-7AM Shifts may vary based on scheduling needs and will include weekends and holidays.

The Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand 8 hours or more
• Must be able to bend, squat and reach
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds to 50 pounds
