Nuclear Pharmacist under the direction of a physician, compounds and dispenses radiopharmaceutical drugs to medical care providers. Responsible for procuring, compounding, dispensing, and distributing radiopharmaceuticals. Being a Nuclear Pharmacist analyzes drugs for verification of identity and strength. Must have completed a program in nuclear pharmacy. Additionally, Nuclear Pharmacist may require an advanced degree of pharmacy. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Requires license to practice. Nuclear Pharmacist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. - Salary: $2572.97 - $2971.48 weekly
- Anticipated duration of assignment: 13 weeks
- Anticipated schedule: 5x8 Days

- Conduct appropriate and accurate drug distribution to hospital inpatients and out-patients.
- Evaluate appropriateness of drug regimen and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
- Participate in clinical areas, making rounds, interviewing patients and formulating drug care plans.
- Oversee work of Pharmacy Technicians and serve as a resource to department and other hospital staff.
- Graduate from an accredited School of pharmacy.
- Active Pharmacist licensure within State of Practice.
- 2 or more years of Pharmacist experience.
- Active BLS (CPR) certification.
