Nurse Practitioner - Oncology jobs in Tennessee

Cross Country Locums is looking for an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to offer locums coverage in Cookeville, TN.

Dates: Starting in July ideally for a 3 month contract with the potential to extend through the remainder of the year.

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8a-5p. No weekends or holidays

Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient. NP/PA to assist with consults 1/2 of the day and then have clinic the other portion of the day (AM or PM), Monday-Friday 8a-5p.

Requirements:

Active TN licensure, BLS/ACLS and DEA

Will consider candidates where they have to apply for their TN licensure

Will consider any board certification as long as they have 2-3 years Oncology experience

Chemotherapy certification a plus

Duties:

inpatient consults, clinic visits and infusion coverage. Client can discuss preference of schedule seeing patients inpatient in the AM and having clinic in the PM vs AM and PM consults

Patient population: adults only, patient mix is 48% oncology and 52% hematology

How many infusion chairs does the clinic have: 22

Patients seen per day on average: 14

EMR: Mosaiq

Rates:

Hourly: $85-$95 per hour (rates depend on experience)

OT- after 40 hours worked: 1.5 times hourly rate

Holiday Rate: 1.5 times hourly rate

Expenses: covered (lodging, rental car or mileage)

Reimbursement or assistance accepted: will reimburse for TN licensure ONLY.
