Nurse Practitioner - Surgical jobs in Arizona
Nurse Practitioner - Surgical works in collaboration with hospital physicians to manage care for patients in a surgical setting. Provides direct care and follow-up for patients in surgical care units. Being a Nurse Practitioner - Surgical orders, interprets, and records results of clinical tests and reports results to physicians. Prescribes medications and makes recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment. Additionally, Nurse Practitioner - Surgical requires a master's degree. Requires Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP). Requires Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Division of Surgical Oncology at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center continues to experience rapid growth. As part of this growth we are recruiting Nurse Practitioners to provide inpatient coverage at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Excellent opportunity for a dynamic ACNP/PA to join our surgical oncology team. Qualified candidate is required to be board certified and is expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based and multidisciplinary care to cancer patients. Experience preferred, however new graduate candidates with strong oncology backgrounds will be considered. Our ACNP/PA is expected to be an active member of the Division and participate in clinical, research and education services provided by Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center (BMDACC) at the Gateway Campus.- 2 years' inpatient experience preferred
- Inpatient only | No OR responsibilities
- 7 shifts every 14 days | No Call
