Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home administers the nursing program in a nursing home in the absence of the Nursing Director. Oversees operations in order to maintain standards of patient care. Being a Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home advises management, patient care staff and administrators in matters related to nursing service. Assists in the establishment and implementation of policies and develops organizational structure and standards of performance. Additionally, Nursing Director Assistant - Nursing Home interprets policies and objectives of nursing service to staff and community groups. Typically requires an advanced degree of nursing. Assistant Director of Nursing Pediatric Home Care - Chesapeake, VA
Continuum Pediatric Nursing Services is seeking an RN for an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role in our Chesapeake, VA office. The ADON manages all aspects of assigned Private Duty Nursing cases including responsibility as direct report for all nurses assigned to the cases. The ADON works closely with staffing personnel to cooperatively manage the administrative aspects of the cases including: scheduling, human resource matters and payroll and billing concerns. The ADON also serves as a resource for the patients and their families and is a point of contact for referral sources, payer sources, physicians and regulatory bodies related to the assigned cases. ADON’s also participate in conducting interviews, competency assessment, hiring and orienting of new field personnel. Services are provided to patients in their home and ADON’s travel to homes every 60 days to assess patients per regulations.
