Utilizes clinical and managerial expertise to develop, implement and evaluate effective patient care delivery systems for assigned units or services. Accountable for the delivery of quality patient care services, customer satisfaction (including patients, physicians, and employees) and financial results within areas of responsibility. The position encompasses, but is not limited to, area-specific and departmental-wide administration (with system alignment as appropriate) management, collaboration, education and research. Performs a variety of nursing leadership activities within and outside of Prisma Health. This Director must have strong acute care med/Surg or Critical care leadership experience.
