Student Support and Intervention :
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students based on data-driven assessments.
Provide one-on-one and small group coaching to address academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
Monitor and track student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure success.
Collaboration and Communication :
Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to identify student needs and coordinate support services.
Maintain open and effective communication with parents, particularly those from the military community, to ensure they are engaged and informed about their child's progress.
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training to stay current on best practices in intervention strategies.
Creating a Safe and Inclusive Environment :

Implement and uphold school policies that promote a positive and respectful learning environment.
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring students have access to appropriate resources and assistance.

Enrichment Planning and Afterschool Tutoring :
Oversee the planning and implementation of enrichment programs and afterschool tutoring sessions.
Coordinate with staff and volunteers to ensure these programs meet the academic and developmental needs of students.
Monitor the effectiveness of enrichment activities and make adjustments to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
Title 1 Program Management :
Manage Title 1 programs and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Develop and implement strategies to support Title 1 students, including academic interventions and family engagement initiatives.
Prepare and submit required reports and documentation for Title 1 funding.
Social Media and Communication :
Manage the school's social media accounts to promote events, share success stories, and communicate important information to the community.
Develop engaging content that highlights the school's programs, achievements, and core values.
Ensure all communication aligns with the school's mission and values.
Grant Writing :
Identify and apply for grants to support school programs and initiatives.
Research potential funding opportunities and develop compelling proposals.
Maintain accurate records of grant applications, awards, and reporting requirements.

The Hawaii State Department of Education is committed to hiring highly qualified teachers in every classroom. With the exception of designated Career and Technology Education (CTE) positions, the minimum qualification to apply for a teacher, librarian or counselor position is a Bachelor's Degree.
If you are hired without completing a Teacher's Education Program, you have a maximum of 3 years to obtain a valid Hawaii teaching license.
