Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) jobs in Iowa
Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) directs and conducts the activities of the hospital's nursing home in accordance with established hospital policies. Recommends changes to improve nursing home and reviews ongoing activities. Being a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) communicates with patients to ensure quality care. May require an advanced degree. Additionally, Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically reports to top management. The Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Nursing Home Director (Hosp. Op.) typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Due to a relocation, we are now seeking a new Director of Nursing. We provide a low stress home like environment for our residents needing memory care. We have the BEST staff, and have mastered the art of providing expert care in a relaxed setting. If you’re looking for a rewarding career in long term care, look no further! We are small 16 beds CCDI unit.
This position oversees 16 residents in our Memory Care Unit, Nursing Department, Social Services and MDS. It is an exciting time to be a part of SPLH as we enter a new chapter in our company.
