Office Services Professional jobs in the United States

Office Services Professional performs and oversees various administrative functions and processes and acts as the organization's point person for outside vendors and service providers. Plans and coordinates office-wide facilities maintenance, space planning, moves, equipment installations, and other events or projects with internal and external stakeholders. Being an Office Services Professional monitors inventory and places orders for office equipment, supplies, or provisions. Manages or administers accounting processes including budgeting, invoice processing, employee expense reports, reimbursements, petty cash, and time tracking. Additionally, Office Services Professional may support HR activities or initiatives with employee onboarding and interview coordination, and training. Performs company database or system administration tasks, including data input, reporting, user support, and upgrades. Resolves day-to-day problems and coordinates with stakeholders to obtain solutions. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Office Services Professional work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     We are currently seeking experienced candidates for a full-time position in Bindery and Office Support at our location in Layton, UT.

    Job duties include but are not limited to:

    • Organizes, sorts, and files work orders in plate file
    • Completes inventory counts when needed
    • Reads and understands job tickets to determine finish size, quantity, and stock
    • Counts or measures out printed items from job ticket in pre-determined numbers
    • Chipboards and pads orders according to customer specifications
    • Wraps product in plastic using shrink-wrap machine
    • Packs, labels, and boxes products for final shipping
    • Inputs information on computer for job/operation completion
    • Maintains a clean and organized work area
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualified include:

    • High school diploma or equivalent with basic computer knowledge
    • Able to use measuring instruments, such as a ruler
    • Understands written and verbal instructions
    • Attention to detail and basic mathematical knowledge
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting up to 25 lbs
    • Previous bindery or print production experience is helpful

    Normal hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm.

    Competitive starting hourly rate $16.00-$18.00 commensurate with experience with two performance reviews/potential increases in your first year!
