Oil and Gas Field Supervisor supervises field staff that maintains and services oil and gas production facilities. Oversees testing and monitoring of wells, pumps, storage facilities and other equipment. Being an Oil and Gas Field Supervisor is responsible for safety of staff and production facilities. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Oil and Gas Field Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Oil and Gas Field Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Oil and Gas Field Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes. The MI Fluids Plant Supervisor assists in training other Operators and trainees, and ensures compliance with governmental regulations and industry standards.
Roles And Responsibilities- Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
- Ensure bulk product blending and mixing procedures are completed accurately and delivered to the field.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Inventory Management principles.
- Conduct Inventory Management functions, including inventory count, balance, level of inventory, and documentation.
- Monitor total cost of materials and implement cost-effective improvements.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of HSE regulations related to Bulk Plants and bulk material handling.
- Ensure 100% compliance with HSE requirements related to Bulk Plant operations and bulk material handling.
- Ensure waste, containers, pallets, etc. used for bulk material mixing and blending are disposed.
- Manage the performance, training, and development of employees under supervision.
- 3-5 yrs. work experience in this or related field
- High School Diploma/GED Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship

- At SLB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at/near the top of the range. The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $115,000 .
