Takes precision measurements of eyes using a pupilometer and other devices to ensure proper fit of eyeglasses or contact lenses. Being an Optician assists and advises customers in selecting frames based on their prescription, lifestyle needs, and style preferences. Inspects lenses for quality, fits and adjusts eyewear, and repairs eyewear as needed. Additionally, Optician instructs customer on correct eyeglasses and contact lens care and maintenance. May process work orders and sales. Requires a high school diploma. Requires Applicable License. Requires Licensed Optician. Typically reports to a manager. Seeking experienced optician, technician, and front desk staff to work in a fast paced environment. The positions include, but are not limited to assisting our customers with the purchase of their eye-wear needs, placing the order with the lab, dispensing the purchase to the customer, eye-wear adjustments and minor repairs. Working directly with the provider to ensure the highest level of patient care, ordering contact lenses, referrals and testing. Pay is negotiable.
