    Responsibilities

    • Proficient in capacity planning, evaluating database server hardware, managing all aspects of an Oracle database including installation, configuration, design, data migration, performance monitoring security, backups, troubleshooting, and data recovery
    • Functional developer proficient in the following: C , Oracle, Visual Basic, HTML, XML, SQL Plus, Java
    • Design, implements, and maintains complex databases with respect to JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
    • Experience with hands on daily Routine DBA operations tasks.
    • Should have good concepts in Oracle RDBMS 11g/12c/19c architecture
    • Good Knowledge in RMAN Backup and Restore.
    • Logical backup and recovery using data pump, export/import.
    • Setup Listener & SQL *Net configuration.
    • Data guard maintenance/monitoring and make sure production and standby databases are in sync.
    • Make the requested software changes to the database and Oracle proprietary interface.
    • Coordinate with Oracle Support for issues.
    • Provide on-site training and demonstrations of new or changed software on the test servers when the COR requires
    • Knowledgeable with current technological environments specifically Oracle integration with Internet, client/Server security, Microsoft Operating Systems (OS) software, and systems implementation within a networked environment


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
    • At least six (6) years’ experience as a database administrator
    • Oracle Database Certified Associate
    • Proficiency in data manipulation languages, including MS SQL, PCL/SQL, C & Visual Basic
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • The ability to work independently as well as a team
