Oracle Database Administrator administers, maintains, develops and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's Oracle database. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves Oracle database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. Being an Oracle Database Administrator may require a bachelor's degree in a related area or in a related area. Typically reports to a manager. To be an Oracle Database Administrator typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Provide maintenance support for database systems
Perform routine security and authentication measures
Experience in troubleshooting databases for performance
Create and maintain SQL and PLSQL queries and shell scripts to automate routing task
Strong Operating system experience in Linux Unix Solaris AIX Windows Servers
Experience with Oracle Exadata management patching configuration troubleshooting

Oracle Application DBA(R12.1/12.2 ) Experience Is Required.
Experience in Enabling SSL,SSO/OID/OAM mandatory
Expert knowledge of Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Database, Oracle ASM, Data guard, Backup & Recovery etc
Ability to spot proactive services that benefit of customer.
Ability to facilitate issues with Development and Support.
Be responsible and accountable for delivering excellent service ensuring SLA's for system availability performance issue resolution project deliverables
Ability to escalate and defer requests where applicable
Managing DBA architects with knowledge on Enterprise Architect principles are required
