Organizational Development Director directs the design, planning, and implementation of corporate organizational development programs, policies, and procedures. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs. Being an Organizational Development Director oversees the development of programs to build human capital and a strong employee development culture. Reviews key performance metrics to enable accurate and valid measurement of workforce performance and to identify areas for improvement. Additionally, Organizational Development Director proposes changes to organizational structure to leverage talent and provide development opportunities to key leaders in the organization. Develops systematic collection and evaluation of performance metrics. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Organizational Development Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Organizational Development Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Role

    Proofpoint is seeking a visionary and strategic Vice President of Talent Management and Organizational Development to lead our talent strategy and enhance organizational effectiveness. As the VP of Talent Management and OD, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing talent programs, fostering leadership development, and driving initiatives to optimize employee performance and engagement.

    Your day-to-day

    • Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for talent management and organizational development initiatives aligned with Proofpoint's business goals and objectives.
    • Lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of talent programs, including performance management, succession planning, career development, and employee engagement strategies.
    • Partner with senior leadership and HR teams to identify talent gaps, develop talent pipelines, and build programs to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
    • Drive leadership development initiatives, including executive coaching, leadership assessments, and succession planning to build a strong leadership bench.
    • Implement organizational development strategies to enhance culture, foster innovation, and drive change management initiatives across the organization.
    • Collaborate with HR business partners, learning and development teams, and external consultants to design and deliver training programs and initiatives that promote skill development and career growth.
    • Lead employee engagement surveys and assessments, analyze results, and develop action plans to address employee feedback and enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
    • Ensure compliance with talent management practices, employment laws, and regulations, providing guidance and support to HR teams and business leaders.

    What You Bring To The Team

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • 12 years of progressive experience in talent management, organizational development, and leadership development roles, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
    • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful talent management and organizational development strategies in a corporate or organizational setting.
    • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage and align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable talent strategies and initiatives.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams.
    • Deep knowledge of talent management practices, leadership development methodologies, and organizational effectiveness strategies.
    • Experience driving change management initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
