• Manage workload for BIM team

• Manage the field interface (Via Design Coordinator position)
• Manage day to day interactions with our BIM clients
  1. Accept new work from the customer
     • Establish SLAs
  2. Create project systems (engage Ops Manager)
     • Assemble project scopes into trackable documents
     • Create working schedules with deliverables and milestones
     • Track PAS and provide report outs for project health
     • Set up PO tracking
     • Set up time tracking
     • Set up Invoice cadences and protocols
  3. Participate in CM services as needed to support the client
     • This will be on a by project basis and discussed prior to kick off
  4. Mitigate / resolve SLA type issues
     • Escalate issues above SLA items immediately for discussion
  5. Close out projects when complete
     • Coordinate closeouts with customer and ops manager
• Own the QAQC process for your department.
  1. This includes constructability where applicable
• Assist in minor proposal creation for non-T&M scopes
  1. Perform field walks with the ID DM and or Customers
  2. Document conditions and request to create SOWs
  3. Develop, if needed, ROMS
  4. Create proposal documents from templates
  5. Coordinate all financial obligations with the DM / Ops Manager to ensure we are aligned and not presenting mixed signals / rates / bandwidth statements to the customer
• Safeguard the internal communications and financial data generated by ID
• Participate in business development meetings and efforts
  1. Work with DM and Ops Manger to develop new (and refine existing) business unit strategies, goals and operation methodologies.
  2. Assist in exploring new technology applications for new/existing processes.
  3. Responsible for coordination of 3D & 2D design models.
  4. Assisting in maintenance and upkeep of relevant models.
  5. Updating and amending existing design databases.
  6. Work to gain new clients, including off site engagements and functions.
  7. Provide historical reference by defining procedures for retention, protection, retrieval, transfer, and disposal of design data.
• Codify processes for the BIM department (engage Ops Manager)
  1. develop processes for existing practices – apply BKMs
     • Role requirements (hiring qualifications)
     • Project specific actions
     • Oder of operations
     • Shared model processes
  2. Work with our internal teams to develop standards
     • Naming conventions
     • Filing structure conventions
     • Data transfer protocols
     • Access rules
• Coordinate resource sharing with other internal teams / departments
• Be the safety liaison between our safety officer and your team.
• Coordinate training needs with the Ops Manger and our Admin
• Requisite necessary hardware and software for your team.
  1. You will assemble the request and justification
  2. DM will review and approve, forward to Ops Manager
  3. Ops Manger will review, approve and procure.
  4. You will coordinate asset tracking with the Ops Manager and ID Admin

Things you will not be directly responsible for (but may need to participate in)

• Contract negotiations
• Heavy proposal creations
• Financial management (AR/AP)
• Employment / HR / Payroll issues
  1. You will often be the first line of contact for these issues, please escalate them for resolution to the Ops manager
  2. Terminations will be handled by the DM.
  3. Final hiring decisions will be handled by the DM
• Inter department disputes or resource sharing conflicts.
  1. DM / Ops Manager will drive these to resolution, we expect you to escalate immediately.
