**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled PACS Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in PACS software platforms such as Agfa, GE Healthcare, Philips; DICOM standards, and medical imaging modalities (e.g. MRI, CT, X-ray).
**Responsibilities:**
- Manage and maintain the day-to-day operation of the PACS
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PACS hardware and software systems
- Collaborate with IT and healthcare teams to integrate the PACS with other clinical systems such as Eletronic Health Records (EHR) and Radiology Information Systems (RIS).
- Coordinate with radiologists, clinicians, and IT staff to address technical issues and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect patient data stored in the PACS.
- Provide technical support to radiologists, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals using the PACS.
- Participate in the development and implementation of PACS-related policies and procedures.
- Perform audits and quality checks to assess the accuracy, completness, and integrity of imaging data stored in the PACS.
**Requirements:**
- Degree in computer science, Radiology Informatics, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
- Previous experience in healthcare IT, with specific expertise in PACS administration preferred.
- Strong technical skills in system administration, network infrastructure, and database management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Certification in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (e.g., CHIME, CPHIMS) is a plus.
