Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing cracks
- Apply paint and other finishes to various surfaces including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim
- Use power tools and equipment such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes to complete painting tasks
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when working with paints and chemicals
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
- Assist with other renovation tasks such as drywall installation, fixture installation, concrete finishing, trim carpentry, plastering, and masonry as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials
- Familiarity with power tools used in painting such as sanders and sprayers
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
