As a Prep / Pantry Cook for Gozzer Ranch you will be part of creating the Gozzer Ranch Experience. You may be asked to perform other tasks (outside of your key areas of responsibility) from time to time based on business needs. Your key areas of responsibility are outlined below:

Key Area #1: Member Experience and Vibe

• Greet our members and member guests promptly upon arrival.
• Always provide our members and member guests with prompt and professional service.
• Exceed member and member guest expectations.
• Create 100% guest satisfaction by providing our Gozzer brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
• Give personal attention and take personal responsibility for a member and member guest experience.

Key Area #2: Teamwork

• Work intentionally to include ALL Gozzer Employees.
• Create good working relationships with ALL Gozzer Employees.
• Maintain a courteous attitude toward ALL Gozzer Employees.

Key Area #3: Daily Operations

• Prepares soups, sauces, and cold foods to Chef's specifications.
• Make apps, sandwiches and salads.
• Plates desserts, based on pastry chef specifications.
• Assist in any Banquet duties.
• Plates all banquet functions to chef specifications.
• Works clean and neat and maintaining work area clean including walk-in box and refrigeration.
• Stores all food items properly rotating par to avoid spoilage.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

• Basic knowledge in Garde Manger work and pastry presentation. 
• Preparing all soups, stocks, sauces, dressings, and banquet items to the highest quality possible. 
• Experience in pastry, apps, sandwich, and salad making.
• Does not sacrifice quality in taste nor presentation when working under pressure.
• Keen eye for detail, ability to follow recipe cards accurately. 
• Possess basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work effectively with all personality types.
• Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions independently.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, morning, and nights.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperatures to include inside and outside areas.
• Ability to perform light physical tasks, exerting up to 25 lbs. of force on a frequent basis and up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis independently or with help.
• Ability to perform such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting, and carrying.
