WHAT TO EXPECT
This is a full-time position supporting First Fit Industrial accounts. As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. You will be a key part of our North American Center of Commercial Excellence responsible for supporting large OEM customers in the US.
This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will ensure that customers receive the best service possible through processing orders timely and coordinating with other functions as required. You'll be an individual contributor.
Key responsibilities:

Entering customer orders accurately and within established standards

Monitoring orders daily to progress customer orders through to fulfillment.

Managing emails and answering customer inquiries as well as processing requests

Initiating & expediting production as needed to meet customer requirements.

Working cross-functionally with Gates internal teams to process customer requests and address customer needs

Management of customer scorecards and portals

Management of new product setup and sample requests

Assisting with daily Customer Experience operations as needed
ABOUT YOU
-
BS/BA Degree preferred
-
HS diploma required
-
Microsoft Office knowledge required
-
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Ability to work effectively with other teams and senior-level executives in a professional manner
-
1-2 years' experience in customer service preferably with a multi-national company

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Self-starter with attention to detail and drive to ensure customer success through relentless follow-up

Experience building relationships with customers and collaborating with a team
-
Interest in learning about our complex and unique customers in the Industrial and Automotive markets

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to work within database systems

Disciplined and supportive of guidelines, policies, and metrics as established by the CX team
-
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship
