Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Patient Coordinator to join our dispensary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate patients to ensure efficient patient flow within the dispensary

- Manage patient check-in through verification of their identity

• Entering all patients into the Cova Point of Sale correctly.

• Verifying patients state issued ID.

• Verifying the correct products that are selected by the patient are correctly selected in the POS at the time of the purchase.

• Verifying patients state issued medical cannabis patient card.

• Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.

• Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.

• Ensuring that the dispensary is always clean and well-organized.

• Educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products.

• Taking inventory of cannabis products.

• Ensuring that the sales floor is adequately stocked before and after each scheduled shift.

• Reporting low stock items to the store manager.

• Informing the store manager of products that the patients are asking for specifically.

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Attentive to detail; Problem-solving- Can identify issues early and create solutions

- Experience working in a cannabis or related dispensary

- Strong knowledge of MS Medical Marijuana regulations

- Familiarity with Metrc tracking software and Cova POS software

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with patients in a compassionate manner

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
