Additionally, Payment Recovery Specialist requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Payment Recovery Specialist typically requires 4 to 7 years of related experience. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Your Role With Us:Payment Posting Specialist- Salem Health Professional Billing DepartmentThis position requires using your skills in medical billing, self-direction, critical thinking and attention to detail. The Payment Posting specialist role involves managing and reconciling financial transactions within Epic, including posting and verifying patient and insurance payments. Responsibilities include downloading necessary files, monitoring payer websites for denials, and resolving payment errors. The job requires maintaining accurate records, collaborating with Finance, updating coverage, and creating documentation for workflows.
