Payroll Administrator jobs in North Dakota

Valley Bus is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to accurately process payroll data, run variance reports, address employee inquiries, and assist with school routes as needed. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, strong communication skills, and be comfortable with numbers.

Responsibilities:

• Calculate and enter employee hours, bonuses, commissions, and other compensation adjustments.
• Verify the accuracy of timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Generate payroll reports for management review and accounting purposes.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll matters and assist as needed.
• Assist in year-end payroll activities.
• Assist with school routes, ensuring safe transportation of students.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the security of payroll information.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in data entry, payroll software, and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
