Payroll Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordination of payroll processing operations. Ensures accurate calculation of wages and processing of tax withholding and company deductions. Being a Payroll Supervisor prepares statistical reports on employee pay, commissions and bonuses; vacation, sick, disability and workers compensation leave; taxes, withholding, etc. Oversees the distribution of paychecks and direct deposit programs. Provides training to team on policies, regulations, and processes. Additionally, Payroll Supervisor assists team members with resolving errors or responding to inquiries. May be the first level escalation for complaints or complex error resolution. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Payroll Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Trenton Gardens Rehabilitation is seeking a full time Dietary Supervisor. The Dietary Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Food Service Director in the creation of high quality meals and the delivering of a meaningful dining experience for clients in our long term skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities include:
· Overseeing and assisting the Food Service Staff with meal preparation based on established menus, regulations, policies, procedures and best practices.
· Regularly soliciting client feedback and incorporating solutions regarding the quality and satisfaction of meals served.
· Assist with menu planning.
· Maintain and monitor accurate meal documentation records per established procedures.
· Assist with cleaning of equipment and work areas.
· Participate in resident care conferences as assigned.
· Assists cook with the production of meals for service, as required.
· Coordinates and plans food preparation activities for special events.
· Supervises the storage & care of food and supplies.
· Oversees the cleaning of the kitchen, storage, & dining areas, and equipment.
Qualifications:
· Must possess, as a minimum a high school or equivalent education.
· Completion of a food service supervisor course preferred, Certified Dietary Manager preferred.
· One (1) year food service experience in a restaurant, health care or senior services setting.
· Knowledge of state and federal food-handling and kitchen regulations (Serve Safe Certification). Must possess knowledge of food service operations.
· Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
