Pediatric Psychiatrist jobs in Arkansas
Pediatric Psychiatrist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders affecting children, adolescents, and their families. Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, determines the appropriate course of treatment, and discusses these treatment plans with the child or adolescent and the responsible adults. Being a Pediatric Psychiatrist prescribes medication when necessary. May need to act as an advocate for the best interests of the patient. Additionally, Pediatric Psychiatrist requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a valid state license to practice. May report to a medical director. We seek board-certified/board-eligible psychiatrists to join our outstanding team. This is a hybrid position.
Compensation:- The salary range for this position is $260,000-$275,000 per year. The role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on performance. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, licensure/certifications, scheduled clinical hours, etc.
- Must have a clean and unrestricted Arkansas license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist
- Excellent communication, patient relations, time management skills, and safety awareness are required.
- Expertise and experience treating children, adolescents, and families would be viewed positively.
- Outpatient only
- No on-call, no evenings, no weekends, and no holidays
- Outstanding work/life balance
- Up to $50k in NHSC funds available

LSCI provides outpatient counseling and psychiatric services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and group psychotherapy in a warm, safe, and supportive environment. Services are offered for a wide variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, stress, childhood abuse and trauma, family and relationship issues, grief and loss, and addiction recovery.
