As a Materials Tester, you will work within a team of construction managers, office managers, inspectors, testers, and surveyors to successfully complete the construction of projects.

Responsibilities, Expectations, and Duties :

• Work within a team of construction managers, office managers, inspectors, testers and surveyors to successfully complete the construction of projects
• Perform field sampling and testing, and perform laboratory testing per NDOT and other agency procedures and processes
• Complete test reports and documentation per NDOT and other agency requirements for all testing performed
• Work alongside NDOT construction crews or other agency construction management personnel in an augmentation role

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies :

• A minimum of three years of highway construction material testing experience required
• Certification under American Concrete Institute (ACI) as Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I required.
• Certification under NAQTC guidelines for Sampling and Density (SD), Aggregate (AG), and either Asphalt (AS) or Asphalt Extended (AE)
• Solid organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with clients and multi-discipline team members.
• Willingness to work on projects locally or in rural areas of Nevada
• Willingness to work either day or night shift depending on construction schedules
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
