    Position Overview

    We are currently seeking an Audiologist to conduct a one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exam in Alamogordo, NM as part of our team of medical professionals.

    Job Details

    • Employment Status: Full-time
    • Compensation: Salaried position with bi-weekly pay
    • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
    • Benefits: Competitive financial package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, along with accrued Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, and a 401(k) Plan

    Requirements

    To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    • Active and unrestricted Audiologist license
    • Master's or doctorate from an accredited program
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
    • Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
    • Basic computer proficiency
    • Full vaccination in accordance with CDC and state guidelines
    • Prior VA or compensation exam experience (preferred but not required)

    Key Responsibilities

    As an Audiologist at Matrix Providers, you will:

    • Review medical history documentation and conduct one-time audiology exams for Veterans
    • Document exam findings electronically
    • Perform comprehensive audio exams, including Pure Tone Air and Bone testing, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and speech recognition
    • Utilize soundproof booths and necessary equipment for assessments
