Provides consultation and answers inquiries from patients, families, physicians and other healthcare professionals regarding drugs and their use. Being a Pharmacist - Home Care maintains all required documentation and data on prescriptions, inventory, and patients. Adheres to the Joint Commission standards for Home Care and complies with all regulatory guidelines and procedures. Additionally, Pharmacist - Home Care requires a doctorate degree in pharmacy. Requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Typically reports to a manager. Pharmacist - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.
