Being a Pharmacy Director requires a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Typically requires Registered Pharmacist (RPh). Additionally, Pharmacy Director typically reports to a top management. The Pharmacy Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Promptcare is looking for a Regional Director of Pharmacy to join our team. This is a full-time in office position, 40hrs per week, Monday - Friday. The candidate can work out of any of our following locations: Lenexa or Wichita, KS; Omaha, NE; St Louis, MO; Cedar Rapids, IA or Hoffman Estates, IL.
Job Summary
The Regional Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the supervision of pharmacy personnel as well as the oversight, management and safety of pharmacy operations including compounding, dispensing, scheduling, purchasing, distribution and regulatory compliance. The Regional Director of Pharmacy may also serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for state licensing.
